  • Chase Hill

    FOUNDING PARTNER

    Chase Hill is the Founding Partner at Sable Partners and has been acutely involved as the General Partner in the sourcing, capitalization, and execution of over 3,000 multifamily units totaling nearly $700 million in total project costs.

    Prior to starting Sable Partners, Chase was a Principal and Partner at Cypress Real Estate Advisors (CREA) for nearly 9 years, where he oversaw all aspects of multifamily development, including financial underwriting, site selection, entitlement and design work, project financing, consultant and construction coordination, asset management, and disposition.

    Prior to working for CREA, Chase was a Senior Analyst for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), where he worked in the Real Assets Division which – at the time – managed a 15% real estate allocation for the $120 billion pension fund. Chase spent a substantial amount of his time at TRS assisting with a $278 million programmatic joint venture investment with Wood Partners, the nation’s largest apartment developer at the time. Through this co-investment vehicle, TRS and Wood Partners developed 25 apartment communities across the country, amounting to nearly 6,000 units and over $1.3 billion in total project costs.

    Chase received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from The University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from The University of Texas.

  • Will Krenger

    ANALYST

    Will is an Analyst at Sable Partners where his responsibilities include financial underwriting, site due diligence, design and construction management, budget tracking, and market/submarket analysis for the Denver market and the surrounding areas. Prior to joining Sable Partners, Will received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a focus in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Plan 1 Honors Program. During his years at UT, Will held various real estate related jobs, including working for a real estate law firm in San Antonio (RPSA, LLC), a national brokerage firm in Austin (JLL), and a commercial General Contractor in Austin (Joeris). Will also studied at the London School of Economics (LSE).

  • Seth Porten

    CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

    Seth Porten is a Denver based Construction Manager at Sable Partners providing inhouse owner representation for all phases of development including design, entitlements, permitting, construction, and owner acceptance/project close out.

    Prior to joining Sable Partners, Seth worked for both national and local General Contractors in the Atlanta, Houston, and Denver markets. Seth has deep experience in both commercial and multifamily general contracting, preconstruction services, and onsite project management and has successfully managed the construction of over $350 million in multi-disciplinary base buildings as well as tenant improvements and renovations.

    Much of Seth’s success can be attributed to his ability to create & foster vital and productive relationships across ownership, design and construction partners to achieve successful project outcomes for all stakeholders. Some of Seth’s notable projects within the Denver market include the recently completed Thompson Hotel in downtown Denver, the University of Colorado Denver Student Wellness Center on the Auraria campus, and Civic Lofts – a 14-story multifamily development project that Seth worked on with Chase Hill when Chase was at his previous development firm – Cypress Real Estate Advisors (CREA).

    Seth received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University.
